Classic Style

 photography by Sharon

I saw a similar outfit on IG and fell in love.  This is such a classic look.  Plus I love adding pumps to a pair of distressed jeans.  Speaking of which these jeans are heaven!  The raw hem, the high waist, and the ripped knee make these my current favorite!  I purchased a similar hat in tan last year, based on how often I wore it I knew I wanted a black one this year.  This hat is so fun and something I wear too often.  At $39 it's a steal.  Not all closet staple items should be expensive.  Hats are something that can be real affordable and last a long time!  Now to get a hat box so my hats stop collecting cat and dog fur, lol.

I purchased my Speedy bag on resale via Trendlee (any site with my name in it has to be good, right).  I don't usually purchase designer bags, but I knew I wanted this one.  It's classic and the perfect size.  It holds a ton without being a huge bag.  I will keep this bag forever!  Usually I am not a big proponent of purchasing high priced designer items, but since this is second hand I knew I would get the quality without the price tag.  Mine is a little more loved than others I have seen but that doesn't bother me.  It is a quality bag and will stand the test of time.

I love a bright red lip in the fall.  However, not all reds look good on me.  This lip color is by Nars, Mysterious Red.  What a cute name for the color!  It has a blue undertone which goes real well with my complexion.  Yellow undertones look terrible on me and most reds have a yellow undertone.  Plus I love how it goes with my Kendra Scott necklace!

  1. I have some distressed jeans as well and I was on the fence wearing them because I feel very are more for summer. However, I love how you paired it with the sweater and the heels. I might try pairing mine with some booties and a fur vest this weekend.

  2. This is the cutest fall outfit! I've been buying more hats lately and I'm definitely a fan of this one. I treated myself to a new purse last week. It's MY first official fall attire purchase. I'm too excited!
