I accepted a new job last week as Senior Accountant for a Builder in Durham. I am very excited for the opportunity! My first week I will fly to Aspen Colorado to review their accounting and start the process of moving it all to Durham. It will be a big undertaking but I am so excited for the opportunity. There is one aspect of the position that I am having to adjust to.....Business Attire! I have worked in "business" casual for the last 8 years. Think more casual than business. So to say my wardrobe is lacking is an understatement. I have a few key pieces, Black Dress, Mid Skirt, Dress Slacks, and Blouses. I will need to do a major closet overhaul though. I am kind of excited though. It will be like reinventing myself. I have already filled my Nordstrom online cart with some key pieces and can't wait to share with you what I am getting. Since Nordstrom has triple points soon I will be waiting to place my order so I can get lot's of Notes for the Anniversary Sale! Oh and let's not forget I will be going through EBates so I can earn cash back. I love making money when I shop.
This outfit is clearly non-work. lol I love this floral top I found at TJ Maxx a month ago, and these leather shorts are so fun. I like to get creative with my clothes and mix pieces that don't normally go together. I love thinking outside the box when it comes to putting items together.
