Holiday Treats

"HELLO DOLLY"

These bars are super rich and AMAZING!  We make them every year.

Ingredients:
In a 9x9 square pan
Melt 1 stick of butter and put in pan.  Then put 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs.
Spread Chocolate Chips and Caramel Chip on top, then Coconut.  Add chopped nuts.  (coconut and nuts are optional).  Then pour a can of Eagle Brand [my mother was very specific on the brand] Sweetened Condensed Milk.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Make sure to let cool before cutting and serving.
When I was growing up my sister and brother were older (6 & 8 yrs).  When they loved something they would tell me how gross it was.  For years I didn't try things because it was gross. LOL older siblings.  Anyhow, my sister's favorite thing at Christmas were these bars which we call Hello Dollies, and Chocolate covered Cherries.  It was years before I even tried a Chocolate covered Cherry!  I know.......I really trusted and looked up to my siblings.  I still do, they just aren't mean anymore. ;)  So in honor of my big sis I made her favorite desert with my best girlfriend Marly and shared them at a Christmas Party.

Enjoy some coca and relax!  These will be such a hit!!!
Make sure you check out Marly's blog today!  She is also sharing a treat and some Adorable PJ's!

What is your favorite childhood treat?
