Culture

If you follow me on SnapChat (edfbylee) you know I am currently in St. Louis.
I arrived a day before the conference started so I could explore and get a good night rest.  I don't fly well, think claustrophobic.  Anyhow, I got in at 2pm on Saturday and had to whole afternoon to explore.  Sadly the lawn around the Arch was closed for improvements so I couldn't get close enough to take pics.  So I walked around the city.  There was a big event for the 50th anniversary of the Arch.  Food trucks were out, along with live music.  Now I have a thing about eating from food trucks I don't know about previously.  Anyhow, I found a cool restaurant to try and asked the waiter what's "local" food....He suggested Pizza and Butter Cake.  So I did and YUM.
 On my walk back to my hotel (aka in search of a store to buy wine) I saw this amazing art display at the City Garden so out came my tripod and these amazing pictures happened.
I call this one "Dying Women" 
This one is "Dead Zombie" (haha)

There is something about being in a city that makes me happy.

  1. Butter cake?! That just sounds amazing. I'm more of a city person too. Exploring a new city is always fun!

    1. Hannah - they call it Oowy Gooy Butter Cake...... (spelling?) It was good but so rich.
