Maxed Out

I love the slit on this maxi.  It makes me feel va va voom.

Doing something simple like adding a Chambray over a maxi makes it feel so different.  I usually do this for work.  Here in NC the weather can get humid real fast so layers are a must!  It also helps that I control the temp in our office so I never freeze!

Tax season is over and I am wiped out!  I worked 32 hours in 3 days!  It was crazy.  Honestly I don't know how Doctor's and Nurses do it!  So Saturday I met up with a few amazing ladies for a quick shoot then brunch.  It was so nice to get out and do something girly, not to mention meeting a new blogger who lives very close to me!

So this brings me to the thought of the day.....How long do you wait before contacting a new girl-friend?  I mean we aren't guys, so the whole 3 day thing is out.  Oh no did I just date myself?  Do guys do that still?  Being married 11 years has me at a disadvantage.  Anyhow, I would love a new girl to hang out with that is in my town......I always over think things and worry I will do something odd and scare her off.  It has something to do with the girls in my high school and me being awkward.  Getting so off topic now.  Luckily I know she enjoys the same wine I do, so we at least have something to meet about.  Of course being both bloggers we won't have to worry about conversation!

  2. I'm loving the look. I love Fedoras b/c they make your outfit look polished.
You are such a hard worker! I would definitely reward myself after a work week like that. I'm glad we met and got to enjoy some brunch this weekend.
I always feel the same about meeting new girls. I get so excited to find some one that I share an interest with that I just want to hang out with them right away. We definitely need to get together and enjoy some wine soon. I'll text you.

    1. Thank you so much Marly! I love fedora's! They hide day 4 hair. We will defiantly hang out! So happy to have a fellow blogger in Chapel Hill that drinks ;)
