Rainy Day Blues (Purples)

K can you say Monsoon?  UGH talk about rain on top of rain.
What else is there to do but work on Fall outfits or at least cooler mornings and nights.  Cause Fall doesn't really happen in the south.  We have maybe one or two days of 'cooler' weather then Hello winter.
UGH (again *sigh*).  Anyhow, here's how my thought process works..... Jeans-check, the add ons.
I decided to treat my hair so it's totally wet.  forgive the headless pics :)
Is it odd that I totally love wearing a black bra under a light top?  something about the hint of dark to show through.

Love this look!  Cardigan found in Marshall's for $10!!  Added my new fav sandals from Fab'rik!
The pearls make it look polished.  I totally wore this for more shopping, and groceries.
For a little 'harder' look (perfect for dinner with my hubby) I added my favorite BCBG moto jacket and my Sam & Libby for Target booties.  Of course the outfit isn't complete without a little bling.
Jeans / Tee old / Sweater similar , steal/ Sandals / Moto similar / Booties similar
How do you take your simple fav pieces and transition them?

Oh - Totally have to share my new ring!  Can you believe it was only $18!  LOVE Fab'rik!!

So life is about to get crazy again.  School starts on the 18th.  I am kinda excited, and kinda not.  I will be so happy when I am done and have my degree.  This semester will be strange, I am taking one class on Tuesday afternoons, one online, and the third on Saturday mornings.  Woo, what a semester it will be.

The travel bug has bit me lately.  I keep thinking of 'small' trips I want to take.  I want to go see both my best friends.  One is south of Atlanta, the other is in PA.  Then I want to go back to Old Town (my town).  Also, I want to go to the beach and to a lake.  Oh and let's not forget going to see my Nephews and Sister.  Too many places I want to go and people I want to see.  I can see it all now.  Fly to Kansas, then to Atlanta, then to PA, and back home.  I typically drive to Old Town.  Sadly all these trips cost money!  Something I don't have, so I will have to resign myself to being in good old NC.  Hopefully I can plan some lunchs and dinners with the fab local ladies I call Friends!

Happy Monday!
