Me a Romper girl - who'da thought!

You saw last Wednesday my only romper.  I have a long torso and don't like my shorts to be too short.  Sadly most rompers I have tried have looked terrible (in my opinion) on me.  That is until I actually took my butt to the mall (which I never do - hate the parking, the people, and the loud kids) and into Forever 21.  I ordered two rompers online that I thought would fit.  Sadly they looked terrible, one didn't even fit.  So I went to exchange them.  I tried on several rompers, um what's up with the leg area being so tight and the bust area being so big???  Hello we aren't all DD and a size 4.  Real women have hips, ass, and thighs!  Anyhow, here is the only romper I liked and how I plan to style it for my DC trip.  I am hoping to only pack sleep wear, make up (duh), and these few pieces to change up the look.

Perfect for driving for hours.
Casual dinner out?  Covered!
Love this for running around during the day!

Lastly a nice brunch or fancier dinner out.
Romper Forever21 in stores (similar) / Sandals Sam & Libby for Target / Chambray / Tee Target (loving) / Kimono H&M loving / Heels Target / Tory Burch Bag/ Lips MAC Up The Amp / Watch / Bracelet / Necklace / Heart Sunnies / Tortoise Sunnies / Urban Jungle Essie Polish (current fav)

Can't believe how comfortable this romper is and how easy it was to change it up with a few simple pieces!  One thing I didn't do was add a skirt which would be another great look.

This weekend we adopted a new kitty from a cat refugee place in Pittsboro.  It tugged at my heart so much how many cats they had and how sweet and personable they all were.  I posted a few pics on my IG account and tomorrow I will dedicate a post to The Goathouse and show you some amazing things they are doing there!  If you aren't in a position to adopt a cat please consider donating (a few dollars can add up and make a difference).  Also, if you have a cat you aren't able to care for please consider contacting a cat refugee before taking them to the SPCA!  I know The Goathouse will drive to other states along the east coast to rescue kitties of all ages.

  2. Your romper is very cute and fits great. I love how you showed a variety of ways to style it. I wouldn't really think of a romper being versatile but I guess I was wrong! Congrats on your new cat! :)

  3. Yay for adopting kitties - he's such a cutie! (My little girl hid under the bed for 24 hours, but then has run the house - loudly - ever since!)

And yay for rompers! I just got my first one this summer too - mine looks more like pjs, but it is perfect for lazy days at home!

  6. I would love to find a romper, or playsuit as we call them, but they;re all just a bit too short for me. I like how you've styled it differently, especiallly with the denim shirt. I'm co-hosting the linky today but there is a problem with my link. You can follow me here:
