Yellow and Pink

I have two color combo's I am loving this Spring......Yellow and Pink, Blue and Orange.
I know ground breaking!  Earth shattering!  LOL
This dress I bought last year and totally love it.  Thick straps so I can wear a bra, and it has pockets!
When did pockets in dress' and skirts become such a ground breaking thing?  I mean it's SO obvious and more clothing should have them!

I tell you I had an insane weekend!  Well following my cruddy "handyman" experience.  Let me start at the beginning.  First - we rent, makes life a little easier since my hubby is in construction to not have to worry about fixing things around a house.  We will purchase one day but for now we are happy renting.  Anyhow, so our dishwasher broke.....our landlord showed up on Thursday while her handyman was repairing our gate [rust and metal tend to break apart].  Her handyman said he could install the dishwasher.  Being my husband has done this like 1,000 times he stood back and watched....The handyman FAILED!  It was terrible.  We were left with a new dishwasher that didn't work and the old one in the yard.  So I called our landlord and suggested she contact the store she bought it from and see if they could come and fix it.  In the mean time I took the old dishwasher to the dump [all by myself while my hubby worked], threw my back out and was doped up on muscle relaxers all weekend.  My hubby decided to take a look at the new dishwasher to see if he could fix it; of course he did!  Our landlords "Handyman" had kinked the water line, which was the good thing.  See a new dishwasher comes with a plug in the pump [so debris doesn't get in and ruin it] - the "Handyman" didn't remove said plug.  If the water line wasn't kinked our kitchen would have flooded!  Seriously some people don't need to be in "the" business.  There is a reason my husband gets upset by men who claim to know what they are doing but shouldn't be anywhere near a power tool.  Please Please Please check out your handyman before hiring them!  They should have a valid license, proper insurance [ehm workers comp] and be able to explain what they will do.  Any man who owns a paint brush is NOT a painter [can't beat a man at his job]!  So long story short we have a working dishwasher and told our landlord that their "handyman" is not to come to our house as long as we are living in it [you'll love this they said their handyman has learned a lot working for them - last I checked our house was not a school].  Oh my back is better :)  Muscle relaxers are AmAzing!

Hope your weekend and Mother's Day was great!
To all the 'fur' mommies I hope you celebrated Mother's day too, like I did!

  9. I have recently bought a hat just like this one, I just can't get used to wearing it. I also own a pair of coral shoes very similar to yours but rarely wear them cos they hurt my feet! Anyway, back to your outfit, I love the way you're rocking the yellow! Plenty of people don't go near yellow, you're very brave. I've just started following you on bloglovin.I will leave my link in case you're interested.
