Stripes with Floral's - Oh My

Skirt J Crew / Tee Target / Sandals JC Penny (loving) / Bracelets Cathryn Ann / "L" Moon and Lola
MAC Snapdragon lip color with [new fav] Whitening Lightning Fiji lip gloss

OMG can I just say how much I am LOVING stripes with florals!?!?!
I had seen this pin before and liked it but didn't have the pieces to pull it off.  Well with my $6 Tee from Target I was able to put the outfit together and can I just say how much I am loving it!  I am comfortable and feel cute.....which is top on my list for work!
It's hard to see but I painted my nails "Marshmallow" by Essie and used a gold Sharpie to make the gold line.  Big point when you do this the gold will rub off if you don't use a top coat and you have to wait a while after applying the line before you can put a top coat on or the gold will smear.

This weekend was the best!  I went to a 'Stock the Wine' party at a fellow blogger and friends house.  Then I had brunch with my Nana.  We went to the best little village called Fearrington (pics to come).  I have to say for the first time in a LOOONNNGG time I am truly happy.  I am happy at work, happy in my marriage, and happy with who I am.  It has taken far too long to get here but we did it together as a team [hubby and I].  I tell you ladies I have been married almost 10 years [July is 10] and we have had our arguments and tough times but in the end we always took love and support from each other.  About 5 years ago my husband was in business with a friend.  Well that friend was shady [never really trusted him] and come to find out he had embezzled from the company.  LIKE to the point where we lost our truck, house, everything.  We moved in with my mom to get back on our feet and after a long road and paying off debt we are finally ahead of where we were when it all happened.  Life throws you curve balls and it's how you deal with them that tells who you are as a person.  Me - I'm strong, non-emotional, and an optimist.  I always knew we could dig out, even though there were times I had doubts.  Sorry for the burst of personal info but I am just SO proud of my Husband and all he went through to be where he is today!  Many times he wanted to leave me because he thought I would be better off, but I wouldn't let him.  Today we are stronger than ever together and financially stable!  I am close to graduating with my Associates and then my Bachelors is the next hurtle.  Each day gets better and better - I thank my Husband, family, and God for all the strength and love through the last few years.  Honestly this blog has been an amazing outlet for me even though I don't get personal often.  Thank you so much for reading and supporting my creativity!
