Styling a Kimono in the Winter

Much to my surprise when I hit Pinterest to get idea's for styling my Kimono they were all shorts!  I get wearing my Kimono with shorts and a tank for a refined look but I don't want to wait till summer, so here is what I came up with.  Remember I mentioned my office is in the 70's and almost on the too warm side.

Kimono H&M here
Leopard top French Connection similar here
Dress slacks H&M here
Flats H&M here (only $15!)

I find it's the details that make the difference in an outfit.  Take for example my crystal accent leaf necklace, it doesn't overpower my outfit but does add a little sparkle!  Then there are my new earrings (Hello Old Navy for $4.99), my leather with gold accent bracelet.  Then of course my Pave' bracelet with my rose gold watch.  What a better way to add something to an outfit than with a little bling.....like my new cap toe flats.  I had fun putting this together and will be something I put on repeat.

  1. It's a pretty kimono and nice you could find a way to style for cooler temps. I agree, bling is always great to add to an outfit

  5. Oh, I agree with Rachel! Love the shoes!
I am afraid a kimono would look too costume-y on me, but I do love it on you!
Thanks for sharing this with the linkup!
