Best way to mix metal colors

This has to be my favorite shirt.  It's BCBG and I feel so elegant when I wear it!  This time I added my H&M teal skater skirt to give it a little edge.  You will notice I paired this bronze shirt with Gold accents.  I think the colors help each other pop and not compete.  Mixing metal colors (gold, silver, bronze etc) can be hard.  What works best?  What are you comfortable with?

Personally this bronze shirt helps the gold of my necklace stand out!  Then I carried the gold through with my watch / bracelet, clutch, and gold hardware on my heels.  I love mixing metals, this has to be my favorite way.  Do you mix metal colors?  What do you like best?

  1. I want to mix metals because I've seen it on others and like the look...but then I get nervous and back out. LOL. Your hair looks SO gorgeous today. Perfectly styled! :)

  4. I'm in love with the colour combination. It's so... perfect haha. I love to mix metals... although sometimes I think it has more to do with the fact that I just have a ton of different metal/colour accessories. I do try to stay either with all warm or all cool metals though.
