Funday Monday with Instagram Recap

Last week I picked up two new items and received my H&M online order.  First is this top found at Ross for $5.99 by Zenana Outfitters.  This top is perfect for fall but can be worn now.  It is beyond soft!
Here I styled it two ways, casual and dressy.  Casual style is with my new print shorts from Belk (clearance).
Dressy style is with my J Crew wool skirt found clearance 2012.

This skirt is perfect because it is two in one.  Found at Target for $6.88.  The flowy fabric is both fun and classy.  Perfect for a transition between school and work.

Fun flowy top is perfect for this skirt.  Plus how perfect are the lime green dots on this tank?  2012 - Target.
Adding another color to the darker green side is perfect.  The green matches perfect in the purple top on the left.  Top from NY&Co 2012.  Also I am loving the plum color of my Lucky silk top with the skirt.

Finally, H&M is available online!!!  I read a ton of blogs and ladies have been showing items from H&M and I can now get them.  I saw this skirt on a blog and loved it.  I ordered the mint because I have so many blue and pink skirts already.  This is a skater style and the fabric is super stretchy.  I was worried it wouldn't fit over my curvy hips but it did.
Loving this skirt both casual or dressy.  Seen here my hubby's Marilyn T (walmart), I was excited I thought of this T when I was putting idea's together.  Yes I wear my hubby's T shirts.  What can I say he has good taste and a ton of band/print T's.  Next I added my H&M polka dot top, it seemed only fitting.

How would you wear these 2 skirts and top?

    1. Thanks Lauren. When I saw how much it was I was shocked. The feel and versatility should make it more than $5.99!

  5. Great finds, but really, I let out a gasp at your awesome mannequin! Is that wicker?! Where did you get it? I have a lifelong fascination with sewing mannequins/dress forms and still lament my husband not getting me this gorgeous vintage one right when we moved to Portland. Le sigh. ;)

    1. Thank you Jen! My husband is a contractor and a client gave it to him as a gift. Her name is "Amazing Grace", Grace for short, she use to belong to a high end department store in England. I couldn't begin to tell you where to look for one as I was shocked when he brought it home. Next time don't walk away from one if you love it!

    2. Wow, what an awesome gift! And I wasn't there to see the dress form up close -- it was my husband who walked away... but yes, I agree with you. I'm still on the lookout for one. :)

  6. Fun clothes! I especially like the ruffly top.

And it's obvious I'm going to need a graphic tee this year - maybe I'll try to make something unique.

    1. Val - Thank you. The ruffly top is fun! I am loving the graphic T, however they aren't easy to find, at least for me. I tend to "steal" my hubby's.
