Old Town #2

So what does a fashion lover do during a few free hours?  Shop of course.  Or in my case, hunt for vintage clothing!

First I found a great consignment shop - Current Boutique on King Street.  Defiantly a place to check out if you go to Old Town.  They did a great job of organizing clothes so you don't waste your time hunting for your size.  Also, the selection was over the top!  Michael Kors, BCBG, Jimmy Choo, etc.  A fashion lovers heaven!  Here are some of the dress' I tried on.
This dress was totally 1970's feel to me even though it's not!  Don't know the designer, it was $42.  Cute but not sure I could pull it off in Durham.
This is Michael Kors and was $52, looked brand new!
This is vintage - 1960's $119 with 50% off.  I loved it but it was a bit snug for me to purchase.  Shop is called Pretty People, was on a side street from King.

When you walk King Street there are signs on the corners letting you know about shops to the left.  Make sure you check them out as well, never know what you will find!

  1. Hi! This is the girl who saw you in Current when I was dropping off pieces to consign there.

I love that Michael Kors dress on you, I hope you bought it!

And you're based in Durham? I'm from NC - my sister is in grad school at UNC. Small world, lol.

    Love the blog!

    1. It was so nice to meet you and talk some! Yes I am based out of Durham. UNC is a great school and Chapel Hill is a great town! When I have time I plan to do a feature of consignment shops in Chapel Hill. Good Luck with your new life changes! Thanks for reading.
