Don't Forget the Lime

Last week I purchased a pair of Lime Green pants at Target ($8 - Clearance).  I love the cut and feel of these pants but was having difficulty figuring out how to wear them. Mainly I didn't just want to wear a white shirt with them so here is what I came up with, plus nude shoes seem to work best.
Remember I have a consulting business where I help women "Shop" in their closets, I decided it was time I did the same for myself.
Outfit 1 - Navy stripped shirt (also seen here), with nude wedges, white bubble necklace, spikey hoop earrings, and gold bracelets.  This works because the shirt doesn't over power the design of the pants and the nude wedges just make my legs look longer.  Can't wait for a warm spring day to wear this out with a girlfriend.

Outfit 2 - Gotta Love Target!  Shirt - Target, Pants, Target, Shoes Target!  HA.  So I went with this shirt because it is cute and has red & lime green dots which pull in the pants.  The cardigan is clearance from J Crew and I thought white would balance things better than another color, which is why I also added my new Prabal Gurung wedges!  Now the top is last year's but Target always has neat shirts like this.  You will notice I didn't add jewerly to this outfit and that is because the top is enough on it's own.  Totally work appropriate.

Closer look at the top.  I love the ruffles, it is very important for small chested women like me.  The design is similar to tiny flowers, very girly and cute.
Outfit 3 - White can be simple and classic.  Here I am wearing yet another Target shirt with nude peep toe pumps, teal bubble necklace, and bangles.  I am loving mixing colors from the same family which is why I went with teal to pair with the lime.  The white helps balance so no one color takes over.  Pumps were found on clearance at DSW - TIP! I shop at the beginning of the season at DSW and make a mental note of what I want, then wait till they go on clearance.  I waited 2 months for these shoes and so happy I did!  Also work appropriate.

Closer pic of the mixed bracelets.  I love the spiked ones (TJ Maxx find) paired with white and gold bangles.
Last but not least outfit 4 - NY&Co silk T with flower print.  I had forgotten I had this shirt and was so excited when I saw it, mainly because of the green tones in the leaves.  This is a perfect outfit for a trip to the Farmers Market!  With a Tignanello crossbody bag, I would be ready to pick up all kinds of veggies!  Paired with gold sandles and gold earrings.  Not much is needed when you are running around town, but you should still look fab!
