Products I swear by

So ladies I thought I would let you in on some of my beauty secrets.  I know I have been stuck on outfits for a while but that is mainly because of the new job, oh and I LOVE clothes.  Anyhow, here are my main beauty secrets, where I get them, and how much they cost.
Typically I use Purology on my hair (Shampoo and Conditioner) which keeps my hair looking great for two days.  However if I find I need to dry my hair in a rush I use Redken Satinwear 02.  A dime size in my hand and run through the roots help my hair dry quicker and look shiny.  One bottle from Ulta lasts me over 7 months and only costs $18!
Almay Smart Shade Primer is a great primer for the price. ($13.99 at CVS).  The mixture of Green and Purple covers the bad spots and helps to control oil all day long.  A must for me!  My forehead tends to get oily as the day goes on.  The only product I have found to control the oil without drying my skin out is Almay Smart Shade Primer.
I can't wear lipstick.  Somehow I eat it off within 30 min of applying.  So when lip stain became big I thought what they heck!  I apply in the morning and don't need to reapply till after lunch.  Plus I get to use my chap stick through out the day which I love.  So I sprung for a "name" brand for my summer color - BRIGHT pink.  I have put some on my hand for you to see the color contrast.  I purchased POP from Ulta for $16.  I know, I know..... Big spender.
My go to Fall/Winter color is a mauve made by Cover Girl "Outlast".  At this price I don't mind having to purchase a second one throughout the season because it starts to dry out. $8.99 at CVS.  Of course there are ALWAYS coupons for this so I usually save $1-$2!  I have put this color on my hand as well.
I love wearing purple eyeliner.  I think it brings out the brown in my eyes.  Some women have made comments like "It's hard to tell if those pants look good with your purple eyeliner"......UM Hello my pants are below my waist, what does that have to do with the color of my eyeliner!?!  Anyhow, I like Almay Intense Liner, it lasts all day and I touch my eyes A LOT.  It runs $8.49 at CVS, and you can see from the package it is made for brown eyes.
I am able to afford most of my cosmetic products through reward programs.  Ulta has an awesome earn points for everything you purchase.  When you hit 500 points you get like $4 off your purchase.  PLUS they mail me a magazine each month with a coupon for $3 off a $10 purchase, not to mention I find coupons like the one above in my InStyle magazine.
CVS also has a program and for every $50 you spend on cosmetics you get $5 off.  Plus they have all kinds of specials.  I purchase my liquid foundation on a 2 for 1 special with a coupon and paid like $6 for 2!!!  Other drug stores have similar programs just make sure you utilize them.  Keep an eye out for a sale and match a coupon with it.  Just make sure you will need the makeup in 6-8 months or you may find it was a waste.

Happy Shopping!
