Poker Night Snacks

We invited a handful of people over for poker night.  I have to say I had fun and we will be doing it again.  I am thinking this could be a monthly thing for us.  So being the perfect hostess I scoured the internet for finger foods I could serve.  I came across a receipt for mini taco's and figured they could be easy and fun.
Ingredients:  Ground Beef, Cheddar Cheese, Won-Ton wraps.
Start with ground beef and brown it, then add in a taco seasoning packet.
Next place a won-ton wrap in a cupcake tin.
Spoon in some of the meat and Sprinkle some cheese on the meat
Place in oven at 350 degrees
Bake for approx 10 min or until you are pleased with how brown the won-ton tips are.
Serve with salsa and sour cream.
They are easy to eat, not very messy, and perfect substantial finger food.
I hate when you have finger foods and you are left hungry, several of these won't leave you feeling hungry.  In spirit of the Taco, I made some Velveeta Cheese dip with Rotell Tomatoes and Chili's.  Everything was a hit and tasted great!  Plus the food went with just about all the drinks we had.
What do you love to serve at parties?
Happy Shopping!

  1. This sounds delicious!! I am a huge fan of Rotel and Velveta cheese! I was just at a little get together and there was cheese, pepperoni, and crackers. Also chips and salsa. I'm not a fan of premade dips with all kinds of ingredients mixed in. because people have different tastes or good allergies (mayo, onions, heavy creams, etc). This sounds simple enough tho!!!

  2. Stephanie - I am a believer if you are going to invite people to your house offer them something good to eat. I don't know anyone who doesn't like Taco's and these were so easy to make. Not to mention the Velveeta receipt was inside the box. I always keep a thing of Velveeta and Rotel in my pantry. Glad this helped give you idea's!
