Transition into Fall

What I love about Fall is I can wear a scarf and people don't look at me funny.  Let's face it I don't live in a very fashion forward City or State (Durham, NC).  I think what I love about living in NC is at the start of Fall the days are still warm but the nights get cool.  Nothing better than opening the window's at night and having to cuddle with my husband to stay warm at night.

So I have been thinking of what I have to wear at the start of Fall.  I don't want to wear sweaters just yet because it's still in the upper 70's to 80's during the day.  I think the key to an awesome Fall outfit is layers.  Throw on some long pants or leggings, a pretty top, and either a jacket or cardigan and your ready for what ever the temperature wants to do.

Here are some suggestions on what to wear early-mid September. Pants with layers (Tank with Jacket).  Long or 3/4 Sleeve Dress with high boots. Capri Leggings with a tunic and flats.  Stockings with Skirt and long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up.
UPDATE: Sweater Dress found at Target for $34.99
LOVING Cream and White together!  I am seeing it everywhere!  White pants with a cream top look perfect and polished!

I LOVE print stockings with just about anything.  They are cute and comfortable on those cool mornings.  Just don't get to kiddy when picking them out.  You can wear them with dressy shorts to work, just make sure your shorts are on the long side - no booty shorts.

Happy Shopping!
